Steer-Buxx Coffee

The Shoot

Steer-Buxx Coffee is a local brand that serves coffee and smoothies at fairs throughout Northeast Ohio. They asked if we could shoot photos of their drinks and other brand photos to use for their new website. They were also looking for a short video ad that they could use for social media. As they primarily operate at fairs, we headed to the Randolph County Fair in Atwater, Ohio to do just that.

It was a very warm but beautiful fair week. We first shot a video of their coffee making process. Though it was a little tight in their Steer-Buxx trailer, we shot several sequences while they made drinks for their many customers (with only one small mess).

After we had plenty of video footage, we moved to shooting photos of their drinks. They made us several of their coffees and smoothies to play around with. Once again with limited space, we were able to set a few delicious-looking scenes in and around their trailer. And of course, we had to try them all after we finished.

Finally, as the sun was setting, we shot some brand photos. We captured more of their coffee making process, as well as their always pleasant interactions with fair-goers. They also asked for photos featuring the Steer-Buxx owners and some of their kids that work with them during fair season. Additionally, we took photos of their two trailers. The lights from the rides and other games against the darkening sky created a fun backdrop for the trailers.
