The Shoot

Andrew is a senior at Chalker High School in Southington, Ohio. He often rides his late grandfather’s Harley-Davidson motorcycle and wanted to include it in his senior portriats. For his second of three separate shoots (all done in one day), we did just that. (See Andrew’s dirt bike portraits here and Senior portraits here.)

We went with a more industrial setting for this set of portraits—a big contrast from his other two sets of portraits. Given the difficulty of moving the large motorcycle in a small space, we were limited on posing options. However, we utilized different focal lengths, angles, and fog to create some variety in this session. As the sun started setting behind Andrew, the sun beams cut through the foggy atmosphere we created.
